Animal Rights Non-profit
The Situation: An organization that rescues unwanted and abandoned pets has been using direct mail as a primary means of communicating with its constituents for over 100 years.
The Challenge: The transition to an increased use of email technology was slow and ineffective because the organization maintained less than 200 valid email addresses. It was looking for a mechanism to dramatically increase the number email addresses in their database in order to effectively use the technology in marketing programs moving forward.
The Solution: Donate.net implemented a cost effective email marketing program to reconnect to the community and increase the database in doing so. Donate.net also identified two areas of staff resource efforts that were optimized by automating market development methods and develop a strategic fundraising plan.
Result: Within 18 months Donate.net was sending over 14,000 monthly newsletters, increasing the organizations reach in the community while dramatically decreasing the marketing overhead costs. Donate.net implemented the strategic fundraising plan and the Organization added $5000 to $9,000 in donations per month.
A Private Day School
The Situation: A Private Religious Day School used traditional fundraising methods to raise funds for the past 35 years.
The Challenge: The School was looking for creative and new ways of getting parents and alumni involved, and to engage their alumni to support the school.
The Solution: Donate.net designed a strategic fundraising plan to create new innovative campaigns ideas to match the schools mission. Donate.net implemented a new “Green Initiative - the ‘Paperless Campaign.” Donate.net identified areas of staff and volunteer utilization efforts that were redirected to new efforts.

An Animal Rights Organization
The Situation: An organization that rescues unwanted and abandoned pets was asked to help in a weather related rescue event.

A plane with the animals was on its way and with less than one-hour notice a local TV media outlet informed the organization that a TV segment would be reporting the delivery on live TV….
The Solution: With Donate.net’s help a Hurricane Rescue program was set up to respond to the program and thousands of dollars were raised for this immediate need. Rapid response implementation capabilities and client support system were used to create the new campaign.
The Result: Over $ 4,000.00 was raised within 48 hours of the newscast and thousands of dollars more over the next few weeks. Homes were found for all the rescued animals.
A Local Environmental Organization

The Challenge: With limited paid staff the organization relies on volunteers to implement the program and to find funding for the projects. The organization receives donations from a limited number of generous patrons and a few grants to support their mission throughout the years. The organization needed a way to connect to the community.
The Solution: Donate.net designed a strategic fundraising program to distinguish different types of giving opportunities that resulted in programs that patrons and sponsors use multiple times during the year. Donate.net also implemented an automated system that optimized staff efforts to support the programs.
The Result: Donations increased by thousands of dollars per month. Gift and patron databases are growing and the organization is benefiting with lower costs of handling paperwork.
A Local Chapter of a National Advocacy Organization

The Challenge: Film Festival… needed an effective way to promote, sell and manage tickets purchases to multiple screenings of a series of topical movies.
The Solution: Donate.net designed a system to manage different pricing categories, assorted sponsor levels and keep track of remaining open seating. The automated system confirmations and real time reporting features insured maximum participation. Donate.net also designed an automated system for the organization to manage sponsors and VIP patron packages.
The Result: The organization was successful in managing more film screenings and used limited staff and volunteer efforts to promote the event in a more effective way. The film viewership increased from 5000 ticket viewings to over 12,000.
